Vigorous, upright, native, deciduous shrub, large leaves, hairy underneath, which produce rich autumn colouring. Creamy-white flowers May to June followed by oblong fruits which change from red to black. Any soil but thrives in chalk and limestone. SHRUB 10ft x 8ft (3m x 2.4m).
