A new compact form of Berberis Darwinii with a very dense habit. Small, glossy, holly-like leaves on slightly angled stems. New foliage tinged red turning green with age. In spring it will be covered with rich orange flowers, then in autumn edible blue barberries. Occasional flowers in autumn in mild weather. Shade tolerant, evergreen.HEDGE For hedges from 2-3ft (60-90cm), plant 1ft (30cm) apart. SHRUB 3ft x 3ft (90cm x 90cm).
