Thymus serphyllum Lemon Curd
Very attractive evergreen, sub-shrub with small green aromatic leaves. A creeping mound forming habit which makes a good edging plant with its arching habit. Also is excellent to grow in a pot. The leaves have a sweet, lemony fragrance which is good in both savoury and sweet dishes. It produces lilac-pink flowers in summer which should be trimmed off when finished to keep the plant neat. The flowers are attractive to bees and butterflies.
Plant in a sunny position in light, poor soil. If the soil is heavy it will be less aromatic and will not flower so well.
